The Vittoz House in Burgundy

This week I photographed a really great house in Burgundy, France. The owners are Mark and Sophie Vittoz, its an old farm house that they have been working on for a while, the way its done is great, modern mix with the old french farmhouse, the kitchen is in the room where the animals where, there is still the trough that runs down the middle for the waste to run away.

Starting the book about this residence this week, spent the day seeing all over the residence, very beautiful palace!

Skiing

I am still at puy st vincent, a great week skiing, right now I am
updating my blog from my phone while on the chair lift going up the
mountain
It's snowing like crazy, the snow is great. Skiing in knee deep powder.

Snow day

The snow is still falling like crazy, 10am and we are still drinking
coffee and eating toast and jam.

This week I am skiing with my children in the French alps, really
beautiful place, we always have such good weather, this week the
forcast is for sun and blue skies. Again this is an update from my
telephone, the photo is from the phone also. Next week I will start a
book about the British ambassadors residence in Paris and I have a
meeting for a book about Coco Chanel, the apartment in Paris and the
house in the country.

Beautiful house in Bennecourt, France

This week I photographed a really beautiful house in Bennecourt (France) the owner is an Antique dealer and also builds houses using 18th century parts from other houses, he does the most beautiful work, Stephan Boutrolle. He is constantly surrounded by furniture and bits of houses, doors windows etc that he has picked up from demolished houses. With four children a crazy dog, ducks and chickens the house is very much alive.

Amis Crapeau, Dana Rolins

This week I had a very nice Job, there is a store in Pacy (27) called Amis Crapeau. There is a very nice lady, Dana Rolin who is a very good upholsterer, she has great taste in fabrics and colours. I have been photographing a lot of her products/upholstery and cushions. If you are in Pacy-Sur_Eure its well worth a look in.

Monday morning

Well it's Monday morning, trying to get going. It's cold and snowing
outside, not so easy.
