by Flammarion has yet another write up in Le Spectacle du Monde Dec 2010
My father-in-law sent me this, thats why its marked in red. I am very
very happy with this book, its really beautiful.

Winter

Yes winter is here, but I don't understand, nobody will come
waterskiing! the Seine does not freeze, has not frozen for years!

Yes back at versailles again, I am just about finished here, really amazing experience, a look inside a place that is really indescribable, you have to come see it, OR buy my book next year and you will have the "Invitation Private"

My book about the Ambassadeurs Residences in Paris is finally out, so I hope you will enjoy it, it was the most amazing book to work on, entering the most amazing houses or chateaus in Paris, this oversized book with over 350 pages is very impressive with beautiful reproduction.

So now we are back into September, some more really nice projects coming up, I thought I had finished at Versailles, another day there. Will be photographing more of Gabrielle Chanels things and visiting the Moet Hennessy chateau's in Champagne Cognac and Bordeau.
Right now just thinking about the wonderful time we had at the beach this August.

I have been spending a of time at the Chateau of Versailles, it has been very interesting, I have seen the most amazing things, really quite overwhelming the domain is huge. So many building so much furniture, just amazing.
The book is going to really beautiful, I am very excited.

working in Coco Chanels apartment on rue Cambone Paris 1ere. This is
for a book about called "Chanel Intime"

Holidays

Well I am in the land of holidays, what else.
So this week I will be finishing up my book on the British ambasadeurs
residence.
The book about "Les Grande Palais de Paris" should be going to the
printers any minute now, I am very excited to see this, the graphic
designer is Bernard Lagase, it's beautifully laid out, the image
processing and retouching is done by Christophe Glaudel, the editorial
director is Suzanne Tise Isoré, published by Flammarion, it will be
oversized and 372 pages, it's going to be brilliant.

I am continuing with my Chanel intime book, it's becoming very
interesting, I am learning so much about her life and what she was
really like from her great niece

England

Yet again I am the British Ambasadeurs residence in Paris, such a beautiful house. Always really nice flowers.
I am starting a book about the Chateau de Versaille on monday, in fact I have already started it already a few weeks ago.

British Ambassadors residence in Paris

This week I am back at the British Ambassadors residence in Paris, they made up the regal dinning table just for me! it takes 2 days to do and seat 58 people, really amazing table, by far the most spectacular of all the residences I have seen. This book will be really beautiful

Spring

The transformation in spring is just amazing, now the cherry blossom
is out, soon the others will follow.
Warm days and daylight till late is comming.

Chanel

I have been this week at the home of 'Tiny"(madame Labrunie) she is the grandniece of Gabrielle Chanel (Coco) she was nicknamed when she was born, Mlle Chanel said "Oh she's Tiny" her father was the nephew of Mlle Chanel, as his mother(Coco Chanel sister) died when he was quite young Mlle Chanel brought him up like her son. Tiny has so many stories and memorabilia that are amazing from her auntie.
I am working on a book for Flammarion about the intimate life Of Mlle Chanel, its looking really beautiful so far.

This week I had a meeting at the Chanel Apt at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris, I will be making a book about the objects of Gabielle Chanel, photographing not only in the apartment and at the house of her adopted grandaughter. This will be the most beautiful book, I am making it with Flammarion and the Editorial director is Suzanne Tise Isore.

British Ambassadors residence in Paris

Again this week I have been at the British Ambassadors residence in Paris, this is really such a beautiful house, I am making a book for Flammarion about the Residence. The Editor of the book is Suzanne Tise Isore, So far the book is going really well I am very happy to do this, I am actually in England when I am there! so that makes me happy....
Also I am working on an advertising photo for Saatchi, this is of the Port Salut cheese, one photograph very precise in a studio all day, I actually do like this, I can still find new and different ways of looking at and doing things

In bordeaux today what a beatiful town, back to Paris tonight, what a
shame.

Tome de Bordeaux

I am right in with the goats in Bordeaux photographing a story about
the cheese "tome de Bordeaux" these goats seem very happy, but how do
you tell off they are unhappy.
The magazine is American called "Culture Magazine" and the writer is
Susan Loomis, she wrote a very nice book called "On rue Tatin" she is
an American food writer who lives in France.

I am on my way to England, have to set up and test the race bikes
Next week lot of things going on, last chance to do this fir a while

Onion

What else, I hope one day I will have a job where I will use only my
telephone not only to make the picture but to retouch and send to the
client, one day.

The Vittoz House in Burgundy

This week I photographed a really great house in Burgundy, France. The owners are Mark and Sophie Vittoz, its an old farm house that they have been working on for a while, the way its done is great, modern mix with the old french farmhouse, the kitchen is in the room where the animals where, there is still the trough that runs down the middle for the waste to run away.

Starting the book about this residence this week, spent the day seeing all over the residence, very beautiful palace!

Skiing

I am still at puy st vincent, a great week skiing, right now I am
updating my blog from my phone while on the chair lift going up the
mountain
It's snowing like crazy, the snow is great. Skiing in knee deep powder.
