Fabrice Brunet

I have been photographing the sculpture Fabrice Brunet for quite a while now. He makes the most amazing figures sometimes larger than life.
He burns the piece to give the exterior a darker surface, in a ceremony after the sun has set

Snow Snow and more Snow

So I have been in the French alps quite a lot lately, this is the book about the 3 star chef Emmanuel Renault. Its been a great experience, and a good excuse to go skiing..... Every weekend!

2013

So 2013 has started in the snow, i have already been to the Flocon de Sel (www.floconsdesel.com) twice, I am making a book about the 3 star chef Emmanuel Renault. This has been a great experience in a most beautiful place. I did get to go out on Lac Leman at 3am (yes 3AM) to photograph the fisherman.I am working with the Stylist/Director Isabelle Hintzy, who has a really great sense of colour and the right elements in an image. The Book is with the publisher Flammarion and will be in French and english coming out in the fall.

Paries Book Award

Réuni comme chaque année à l'École Le Cordon Bleu Paris, le jury français des Gourmand Awards tient à féliciter les éditeurs, les chefs, les auteurs, les photographes, les historiens, les graphistes, les vignerons et tous les acteurs du secteur.
Les ouvrages primés intègrent désormais la compétition internationale, dont les prix seront remis le 23 février 2013 au Carrousel du Louvre, pendant le Festival du livre culinaire.
Cet ouvrage sera présenté aux visiteurs de la Bibliothèque publique d'information du Centre Pompidou, de février à mars 2013
